FAQ

Q:What platform will Plain Sight be available for?
A:Plain Sight is an XNA game. This means that it is compatible with both PC and Xbox 360. The initial launch platform will be the PC for two reasons: 1) We’ve spent more time on it and 2) We so far haven’t made any arrangements with Microsoft to put the game on Xbox Live Arcade. Although this is something we’re obviously looking into.

Q:How much will it cost?
A:We expect the game to retail in the region of £10.

Q: Is the game single or multiplayer?
A: Plain Sight is a multiplayer-only game that can be played over LAN and Internet.

Q: Will there be A.I. bots?
A: Sorry, no, we don't really have the resources to do that. Friends Required!

Q: Will there be multiple gameplay types?
A: Yes! We just havent announced them yet...

Q:Where can I buy it?
A:Right here. Once the game is released you’ll be able to purchase the game on the website and start playing immediately.

Q:When will the game be released?
A:We’re aiming to have the game finished in Q1 of 2009.

Q:Why the name Plain Sight?
A:Mostly because Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble was already taken. Aside from that, it's because players are always visible.

Q:Is there a plot?
A:No, just lots and lots of robots with swords.

Q:I’ve signed up to the beta test, but I can’t download/play the game? What’s going on?
A:The beta test is going to start in November. Acceptance into the beta test isn’t automatic. We check all applications before clicking the 'ok' button. We may have a backlog.

Q:Can I host my own game.
A: Yes, we will release the server-side software when it's done.

Q:How many weapons / power-ups / levels will there be?
A:As many as we can squeeze in.

Q:What's the music in the game Trailer?
A:It's Louis Armstrong's Satchel Mouth Swing

Q:Is Plain Sight going to be translated into any other languages?
A: It wouldn’t be hard but, unfortunately, we don’t know any other languages! If you think you could translate the in-game menu and the rules please drop us a line, the more players the better !
